I’ve presented at over 50 events on my experiences and research projects relating to collaborations with Indigenous communities from Australia, Fiji, and Arctic Canada. This includes keynote and plenary engagements, presentations to diplomatic corps, guest lectures, conference presentations, and community forums. I’ve presented on topics such as Indigenous knowledge systems, Indigenous placemaking, senses of place, landscape perception, participatory mapping, cultural heritage, ethics, and research methods and approaches. I’ve given invited talks at institutions such as Harvard University, University of Virginia, University of Washington, National Library of Australia, the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, and the Smithsonian Institution.
